Apparently, My Life Forgot to Follow a Plot 🤭📖

A book you never finished still inspires thoughts about life

What’s a book you never finished but still think about?

The Book I Never Finished… Because I’m Still Living It 🤭📖

What’s a book you never finished but still think about? 🤔📖

Well… my life. 🤭😂

Because apparently, I picked up a book and the author decided to throw every possible genre, emotion, character and plot twist into it.

One chapter I’m laughing like I’ve completely lost it.
The next, I’m crying so hard even my tears are asking for a day off. 😭😂

There’s happiness. There’s heartbreak.
Love, anger, excitement, fear, frustration, jealousy, hope, confusion, peace, chaos, exhaustion, loneliness… basically, the entire human-emotion department is working overtime. 😂

Some days I’m full of confidence, ready to conquer the world.

Other days, I’m like, “Can everyone please leave me alone? I’m busy doing absolutely nothing.” 😌

There’s comedy, there’s tragedy, there’s romance, there’s mystery…

And then there are the plot twists.

Friends becoming enemies.
Strangers becoming important.
A shaatir haseena making an appearance.
A maa ka laadla entering the scene.
And somewhere in the story, a perfectly normal wife apparently gets promoted to shakki biwi. 👀🤣

Seriously, who needs fiction when my life is already writing its own screenplay?

And the funniest part?

I don’t even know what happens next. 😂

I started this book, but I have no idea how many chapters are left. There’s no table of contents, no spoilers, and definitely no option to sneak a peek at the last page.

Just like any good story, I wake up every morning wondering what the next chapter is going to bring.

Will it be a quiet little chapter?

A happy one?

A completely unexpected adventure?

Or will life casually walk in, throw something completely unplanned at me, and wait for my reaction?

At this point, I’ve stopped asking “Why me?”

I’ve upgraded to:

“Okay… interesting. What happens next?” 😂

Because just when I think I’ve finally figured out the storyline, life seems to turn another page before I’m ready.

Maybe there’s a new adventure waiting.

Maybe an old character suddenly walks back into the story.

Maybe I discover something I never knew I could do.

Or maybe tomorrow is just going to be gloriously ordinary—and honestly, I’ll take that too. 😁

Who knows?

That’s the fun of an unfinished book.

I’ve read so many pages already—some I’d happily revisit, some I’d rather skip, and some I’m still trying to understand. 😂

But the last page?

Not yet.

I’m still reading it.
Still living it.
Still turning the pages.

And honestly, I have no idea how it ends.

But I can promise you one thing—

the book may be unfinished, but it is definitely not boring. 🤭📖😂

Now I’m curious… what’s yours? 👀

    *STAY IN FAITH*

_*📖My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience (James 1:2-3).*_

Have you ever been in a situation where, after you’ve done everything you know to do, things didn’t seem to change? You’ve prayed, applied the Word, and followed every counsel given, yet the situation looked the same. Like the student who once wrote me a letter after sitting for the same examinations several times and failing again and again, asking, “Pastor Chris, what more can I do? I’ve tried everything.

” But the Word already gives the answer: stay in faith. Refuse to give up. Faith always works. Refuse to stagger at the Word of God through unbelief, but against hope, believe in hope. No matter the adversity you face in your academics, your workplace, or through people who seem determined to hinder your progress; refuse to be flustered, discouraged or bitter. Keep acting your faith. You may encounter individuals who decide that no matter what you do, you won’t succeed unless you compromise; stay on the Word. The Bible says if you’re afflicted, pray (James 5:13), but that doesn’t mean things may change instantly, and that doesn’t also mean God hasn’t heard you. But one thing is certain: He believes in
    you.

God knows He has trained you enough to face the situation and win. That’s why you don’t chicken out; you face it and win. You stand your ground. You hold fast to the Word. Even when it seems like everything is collapsing
around you, refuse to panic. Refuse to quit.

Maybe you lost a job, or something didn’t go the way
you expected, don’t be moved. The Bible says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). This is your life, and it will always be your experience as long as you’re in faith. So, keep serving the Lord joyously and putting your faith to work.

    CONFESSION
I’m a victor in Christ Jesus. I walk in dominion, power and ever-increasing grace, glory and peace. My mind is renewed by the Word;therefore, I only think victory, success and abundance. The glory of Christ, His righteousness, might and wisdom are expressed in and through me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Keep on reading, there’s a lot chapters, plots and twist yet to uncover… you’ve made me change my emotion several times in one page as I followed you from you chapter one to where you stopped. I am still willing to continue reading when you are ready to release new chapters. Great to read this piece. Thanks and still waiting.

    Good morning Rajeshwari! ☀️

I like how you chose life as a book that never finishes. Every day is a new day, and today is like a page we’re reading right now, and tomorrow means turning the page. Wonderfully written! 👍

    Have a great Thursday! ☺️

It’s a never ending book which goes on, also which we can control future pages….. nice post ji…😀

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Absolutely! 😊 We may not control every page, but we can surely write some of them our way. Thank you Girish ji! 🦋📖✨

  5. Mukund Karadkhedkar Avatar

Nice reflection Rajeshwari. Our thoughts resonate for the answer of this prompt. Your writing is beautiful and revisits the phases you lived. Nice 👍

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Thank you so much Mukund ji! 🤍 I’m really glad you could relate to it. We all have different chapters in life, but somehow the feelings remain the same. So happy that my words connected with you. 🌸🦋📖✨

        My pleasure 😇

  6. SRIKANTH Avatar

Honestly, Rajeshwari, this is the most relatable ‘unfinished book’ I’ve ever read! 😂📖 The idea of navigating ‘shaatir haseenas’ and ‘shakki biwis’ as plot twists is the kind of comedy only real life can write. You’ve captured the beautiful, chaotic mess of it all perfectly—the endless emotional character arcs and the mystery of not knowing the next page.

Keep savoring those ‘gloriously ordinary’ chapters and surviving the unexpected plot twists. Here’s to hoping your next chapter is filled with peace and a little less overtime from the emotion department! 🥂🤭

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

😂😂 I swear, real life has the most unpredictable writers! No amount of fiction can prepare us for some of its plot twists. 🤭 And yes, I’m definitely hoping the next few chapters come with a little more peace, fewer emotional plot twists, and absolutely no overtime from the drama department! 😂❤️ Thank you so much Srikanth ji for reading it with such a lovely sense of humour. 🌸🦋📖✨

  7. umadasila Avatar

Rajeshwari, this is such a delightful way of looking at life! 😂❤️ You’ve turned the unpredictability of life into an unfinished book that keeps getting more interesting with every page.

I especially loved the thought of waking up and simply saying, “Okay… interesting. What happens next?” 🤭 That little shift from asking “Why me?” to embracing whatever comes next is both hilarious and quietly profound.

Life may not give us a table of contents or spoilers, but perhaps that’s exactly what makes the journey worth reading. 📖✨ Here’s to all the unexpected chapters, surprising characters, beautiful detours—and to never knowing what the next page holds. ❤️🌸

Keep turning those pages, Rajeshwari . Your story is definitely not boring! 😄📖🦋

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Thank you so much Uma! ❤️🤍😂 I’m glad that little “What happens next?” thought made you smile. Maybe that’s the best way to read life—without spoilers, just turning the page and seeing where it takes us. 🤭📖 Here’s to all the unexpected chapters and beautiful surprises still waiting ahead! 🌸🦋✨

Rajeshwari, this was such a fun and relatable read! 🤭📖 Life really is an unfinished book full of unexpected plot twists. Loved this! ❤️

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Thank you so much Maha! 🤍 Life really knows how to add a plot twist just when we think we’ve figured out the story. 🤭📖 And honestly, that’s what keeps it interesting! So glad you enjoyed it. 🌸🦋✨

The entire human-emotion department working overtime is a perfect description of most weeks around here. And I like that you didn’t pick a tidy answer to the prompt — the genre-swapping chaos is the honest one. Some days conquer the world, some days busy doing absolutely nothing. Both count.

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

      Thank you so much 🦋✨

That last line has the right attitude. Whatever comes next, at least the reader has not abandoned the author yet.

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Haha, true! 😂 The plot may be missing, but thankfully the reader is still around to see where this story goes! 🤍🦋📖

This is such a beautifully relatable way of looking at life—as a book with no table of contents, no spoilers, and absolutely no idea what the next chapter holds. 😂📖 Sometimes it’s comedy, sometimes chaos, sometimes heartbreak, and sometimes a plot twist we definitely didn’t order. But perhaps that uncertainty is what makes the story worth reading. ✨

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Thank you so much! 🤍 And yes, life’s unpredictable plot twists are what make the story worth reading. 🦋📖✨

Very nice. It often happens in TV debates, when a participant doesn’t want to speak on the given subject he or she changes the subject for himself, you do that beautifully, yes the book of life is more exhaustive, more interesting , full of suspense and thrill.
    All the best.

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Haha, I loved the TV debate comparison! 😄 And yes, life’s book is definitely more interesting when we don’t know what the next chapter holds. Thank you for such a thoughtful comment! 🤍🦋✨

  18. Vijay Srivastava Avatar

Rajeshwari ji, what a delightful and wonderfully honest way of looking at life! 😊 Your “unfinished book” is perhaps the most beautiful one precisely because its next chapter is always unwritten.

I loved the thought that instead of asking “Why me?”, we can simply smile and ask, “Okay… interesting. What happens next?” That shift from resistance to curiosity is itself a beautiful philosophy of living.

May your unwritten chapters continue to bring you wisdom, laughter, surprises, and many reasons to turn the next page. ❤️

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Thank you so much Vijay ji for such a beautiful and thoughtful comment. 🤍 I think that little “Okay… what happens next?” really does make life more interesting. We may not know what the next page holds, but that’s also what makes us want to keep turning it. 😊🦋✨

Honestly, I must confess that I love your perspective on how life is like a book, one step at a time, with no rush, just doing your best today and letting tomorrow unfold when it comes. Your writing is so intriguing, Nihshab; I love it ❤️

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

That means a lot to me. 🤍 I think life becomes much more beautiful when we stop worrying about the whole story and simply live the page we are on. Thank you for reading and for such a lovely comment. 😊🦋✨
