Unfortunately, Everyone in My Life Is a Fruit

List your top 5 favorite fruits.

I used to think choosing favorite fruits was easy.
Then I realized fruits are basically people with vitamins.

.

Some look sweet and ruin your peace.
Some look hard and turn out softer than your overused pillow.
And some… honestly belong in therapy.

.

So here’s my completely unscientific, emotionally damaged fruit ranking:

.

1. Mango

.

The dangerously attractive people.
Zero consistency. Full personality.
They appear once a year, disturb your emotional balance,
make life feel cinematic for three days,
then vanish like a government website after login.

.

2. Banana

.

The simple, dependable people.
No confusion. No emotional puzzles.
Just kindness, consistency,
and replies that don’t require detective work.

.

The kind of people
who say “reached home” without being reminded
and somehow restore your faith in humanity a little. 🍌

.

3. Coconut

.

Looks emotionally unavailable.
Probably replies with “hmm.”
But secretly has the softest heart imaginable.
Opening up to them, however, requires tools, patience,
and possibly divine intervention.

.

4. Grapes

.

Friend groups.
You invite one person for chai
and suddenly there are eleven people sitting in your room
finishing your snacks and judging your taste in music.

.

5. Watermelon

.

Looks huge. Feels promising.
But after cutting through all the effort,
it’s somehow 87% water and disappointment.

.

At this point, my life doesn’t need healing.
It needs refrigeration. 🍉😭

.

Because every time I meet someone new,
my heart starts acting like it found
“limited edition seasonal fruit” again.

.

And honestly?
Some people are not red flags.
They’re just fruits you forgot to refrigerate in time.

.

Minimal aesthetic poster with warm sunlight, books, dried flowers, and the quote “Unfortunately, Everyone in My Life Is a Fruit.”
Some people ripen beautifully.
Some disappoint quietly. 🍂

  1. Hi, Rajeshwari! You just made me chuckle! 😆 That’s real emotional damage. 🤣

You just made my day! ☺️

On top of chuckles yesterday with each other that made my day. 😆

      1. Haha 😆 You’re right; they felt indeed so wholesome! ☺️

Thank you so much! I’m glad I made your day a little brighter. ✨️

    1. Thank you so much Girish ji 😊🌸 Sometimes people really do feel like fruits… sweet, complicated, seasonal, and occasionally impossible to handle 😄🥭

  2. This is such a beautifully chaotic, deeply relatable masterpiece, Rajeshwari. 🍍❤️

You turned fruit into philosophy, relationships into produce aisle trauma, and somehow made me want to hug a coconut and apologize to a banana. The way you write—equal parts humor, heart, and “who hurt you?”—is honestly refreshing. Also, that line about people being “fruits you forgot to refrigerate in time” will live in my head rent-free forever.

Please never stop seeing the world this way. Your emotional damage? Peak storytelling. 🍉🥥🍌

    1. Srikanth ji, this is honestly the cutest and most beautifully dramatic response ever 😭🍍✨ You somehow understood every tiny layer of humor, chaos, and hidden emotional damage in that post perfectly 😂 And now I genuinely cannot stop laughing at “produce aisle trauma” and “hug a coconut and apologize to a banana” 😭🥥 The fact that my silly little fruit thoughts connected with you this much makes me so happy 🌸☺️
Thank you for reading it with so much warmth and heart. Comments like this make writing feel even more special 🤍✨

  3. Brilliantly written.
Funny, sharp, and painfully relatable all at once.
The mango and banana parts felt a little too real. 😄

And this line was pure gold:

Some people are not red flags.
They’re just fruits you forgot to refrigerate in time.

    1. Haha 😄 this might be one of the sweetest compliments this post could get Vijay ji.
And honestly… that “forgot to refrigerate in time” line hurt me a little while writing too 😂🍌🥭

  4. Excellent writing, Rajeshwari.
I was about to say at least you don’t have nuts 😁 but after looking at your fruit basket, I gave up 😊.
    Keep blogging.

    1. Hahaha 😄 after looking at my fruit basket, giving up was probably the safest decision 😂🥭
Thank you so much Rupali for the lovely words and for reading my little fruity chaos so warmly 🌸✨

  5. What a delightful, soul-stirring read, Nishabdji 🍓🥭

Your words turned everyday fruits into a mirror of the heart — funny, tender, and so deeply relatable. In your clever chaos, I saw my own stories of mango-like heartbreaks, banana comforts, and forgotten watermelons. You make emotional damage feel poetic and warm. Thank you for this beautiful hug in words. Keep ripening these gems! 🧿💕

    1. This made me smile so genuinely Aniruddha ji🥹🍓 The way you felt every little fruit emotion so personally was honestly the sweetest part. 🥭✨
Thank you for holding my silly chaos so gently your words felt warm like home 💛

  6. A lighthearted piece, but carried the message you wanted to convey. Loved this innovative way of writing 👌👌💗

  7. That is such a delightful and creative piece of writing! You have a wonderful way of turning everyday observations into something so relatable, poetic, and genuinely funny. Your perspective on “fruit” personalities really brightened my day—I don’t think I’ll ever look at a coconut or a banana the same way again!

    1. Thank you Praveen! 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed it. If you’ll never look at a coconut or banana the same way again, I take that as a compliment! 😄🥥 🌷✨

      1. Haha! 😊😊 Thank you, Praveen✨. If I can make someone smile, I consider that a successful day. Life gives us enough reasons to be serious, so a little laughter shared between friends is always a blessing. Glad my silly side could entertain you! 😄🌸🤗

      2. That is such a lovely sentiment! I couldn’t agree more—the world definitely needs more lighthearted moments, and I’m so glad we can share them. Wishing you a wonderful, joy-filled day ahead! 😊
