  • The Hard Years: Not the Final Chapter

The Hard Years: Not the Final Chapter

    Daily writing prompt
What’s a chapter of your life you’d title "The Hard Years" — and what got you through it?

The Hard Years: Not the Final Chapter

    .

Hard Years don’t always arrive with a warning. They quietly become a chapter of our lives where every day feels a little heavier than the last. If you’ve ever lived through The Hard Years, you know they don’t just change your circumstances—they change you.

    When Life Quietly Changes You

Have you ever looked back and realised there was a season that quietly changed everything?

    .

    Not one terrible day.

    .

    Not one heartbreaking moment.

    .

But a chapter that stretched longer than you ever expected.

    .

If I had to give it a name, I’d call it The Hard Years.

    .

They’re the years when you keep showing up, even when you’re running on empty. You smile because people expect you to. You answer, “I’m fine,” because explaining the truth feels exhausting.

    .

From the outside, life looks ordinary.

    .

Inside, you’re simply trying to make it through another day.

    The Battles No One Sees

The hardest battles are rarely visible.

    .

Someone is grieving while attending family dinners.

    .

Someone is worrying about bills while laughing with friends.

    .

Someone is carrying fear behind a perfectly normal conversation.

    .

That’s the strange thing about The Hard Years.

    .

They teach us how much people can hide behind a smile.

    .

Maybe that’s why kindness matters so much.

    .

We never really know what chapter someone else is living through.

Hope Doesn’t Always Make a Grand Entrance

Looking back, I realised hope never arrived like a miracle.

    .

    It came quietly.

    .

A cup of tea on a difficult evening.

    .

A message from someone who somehow knew I needed it.

    .

    The smell of rain.

    A familiar song.

    A peaceful sunrise.

    .

None of these things changed my life overnight.

    .

But they reminded me that even difficult seasons have moments worth holding on to.

    .

Sometimes, hope isn’t about escaping the darkness.

    .

It’s about finding one small reason to keep walking through it.

The Chapter That Never Got the Last Word

People often say difficult times make us stronger.

    .

I think they make us gentler.

    .

They teach us to listen more carefully, judge less quickly, and appreciate ordinary days we once took for granted.

    .

Every life has a chapter called The Hard Years.

    .

Some chapters last longer than others.

    .

    Some leave deeper scars.

    .

But none of them were ever meant to be the ending.

    .

One day, you’ll look back and realise those years didn’t just test your strength.

    .

    They revealed it.

    .

And perhaps that’s the most beautiful plot twist of all.

    .

The Hard Years were never the final chapter.

    .

They were simply the pages that made the next ones worth reading.

    Until next story,

  • If My Bank Passbook Had a Sequel

If My Bank Passbook Had a Sequel

What’s a Book You Think Deserves a Sequel? My Bank Passbook!

If My Bank Passbook Had a Sequel—I’d buy it without reading the reviews. Forget fantasy novels and bestselling classics. The only book I truly want a sequel to is my bank passbook, preferably with more deposits, fewer bills, and a guaranteed happy ending.

    .

Most people would choose a timeless classic.
I didn’t even have to think twice.

    .

    Mine is… my bank passbook.

    .

    Once upon a payday,
    it opened with great delight.
    The numbers smiled,
    the future looked bright.

    .

    Then entered the villains—
    rent, groceries, bills,
    school expenses,
    and those irresistible online thrills.

    .

    Every chapter grew thinner,
    every page sighed,
    my balance became
    something it preferred to hide.

    .

    The ATM looked at me
    with quiet sympathy.
Even the receipt seemed to whisper,
    “We’ll get through this… hopefully.”

    .

    So yes,
what’s a book you think deserves a sequel?

    .

    My bank passbook.

    .

    I’m waiting for the edition
    where deposits arrive
    without farewell speeches,
    expenses learn some manners,
    and the balance finally says,

    .

“Relax… this story has a happy ending.”

    .

    Until then,
    I’ll keep turning the pages,
    hoping the next chapter
    is written by good luck…
    instead of my shopping cart.

    .

If My Bank Passbook Had a Sequel, I’d happily call it the best financial fiction ever written.😎

    .

    With a smile,

  • What Villain Actually Had a Good Point? Maybe It Was Mogambo

What Villain Actually Had a Good Point? Maybe It Was Mogambo

What villain actually had a good point?

If someone asked me, “What villain actually had a good point?” I’d probably laugh first. Then I’d quietly say, “Mogambo.” Yes, the larger-than-life Bollywood villain with the unforgettable dialogue. Strange as it sounds, growing older has made me realize we weren’t just laughing at him—we were overlooking the one thing he got absolutely right.

    .

What Villain Actually Had a Good Point?

Agreeing with a Bollywood villain feels almost illegal.

    It’s like saying,

    “Monday is my favourite day.”

    Or admitting,

    “Traffic builds character.”

    Or smiling after seeing,

    “Your OTP has expired.”

Some opinions are simply not meant to be spoken aloud.

    Yet…

    if someone asked me,

“What villain actually had a good point?”

    I’d clear my throat…

look around to make sure Gabbar isn’t listening…

    and quietly whisper,

    “Mogambo.”

    Yes.

The man with the ridiculous uniform.

    The dramatic laugh.

The world’s most committed shoulder pads.

The One Dialogue We All Laughed At

    For years,

we laughed every time he declared,

“Mogambo khush hua!” (Mogambo is pleased.)

    Children copied it.

    Comedians mimicked it.

    Memes kept it alive.

    But adulthood…

    has a strange habit.

    It takes old movie dialogues,

    dusts them off,

    and suddenly whispers,

    “Listen carefully this time.”

    Because maybe…

    Mogambo wasn’t celebrating evil.

    Maybe…

he was celebrating something much smaller.

Something all of us quietly crave.

    To be appreciated.

The Real Plot Twist Nobody Noticed

    Look around.

    Your mother serves hot rotis

    while eating hers cold.

    Nobody claps.

Your father fixes a leaking tap,

    pays another bill,

    pretends he isn’t tired.

    Nobody notices.

    The office colleague

    who remembers everyone’s birthday.

    The security guard

who greets every resident before sunrise.

    The teacher

    who stays back after class

for the student who’s afraid to ask questions.

    The friend

    who says,

“Call me if you need anything.”

    …and actually means it.

    No background music.

    No slow-motion entry.

    No standing ovation.

    Just ordinary people

    performing extraordinary kindness

    so quietly

that the world mistakes it for routine.

What Villain Actually Had a Good Point?

    Perhaps…

    that’s why Mogambo smiled.

    Not because his plans worked.

Not because he ruled the world.

    But because…

    for one brief moment,

    someone noticed him.

    Think about it.

    When was the last time

    someone looked at you

    and said,

    “I saw your effort.”

    “Thank you.”

    “You made today easier.”

    Not,

    “You’re amazing.”

    Just…

    “I noticed.”

    Funny, isn’t it?

    We chase promotions,

    likes,

    followers,

    certificates,

    bonuses…

    when sometimes,

    one genuine

    “I’m glad you’re here.”

    heals a heart

more than all of them combined.

    Maybe the Villain Was Right…

    No…

    I’m not defending the missiles.

    Or the evil plans.

    Or that unforgettable fashion disaster.

    Let’s not get carried away.

    But this one thing?

    I’ll give him that.

    Every heart—

whether it belongs to a child,

    a parent,

    a homemaker,

    a teacher,

    a nurse,

    a driver,

or the quiet soul who keeps everyone else going—

    wants to feel

    seen.

    Because appreciation

    isn’t about feeding someone’s ego.

    It’s about feeding someone’s spirit.

A flower doesn’t bloom because you command it to.

    It blooms

because someone remembered to water it.

    People aren’t very different.

    And perhaps…

that’s the joke Bollywood never intended us to understand.

We spent years laughing whenever he said,

    “Mogambo khush hua.”

    Maybe we were laughing

    because we thought

    only villains wanted appreciation.

    Then life happened.

    Now we secretly wait

    for the same three words—

    not from strangers,

    not from the whole world,

    but from someone who knows

    how hard we’ve been trying.

    So…

    if you ever see someone

quietly carrying more than they talk about…

don’t wait for an award ceremony.

Don’t wait for a farewell speech.

    Don’t wait until they’re gone.

    Tell them today.

    “I noticed.”

    “Thank you.”

    “You matter.”

    Because perhaps…

the greatest heroes don’t need louder applause.

They just need to know their silent battles were never invisible.

And if a Bollywood villain had to remind us of something so beautifully human…

    then maybe…

    just maybe…

Mogambo really did have one good point. ❤️

    .

Keep noticing the quiet heroes around you. ❤️

    Love,
    Rajeshwari 🧿💕

  • If You Could Live Anywhere in the World | Never Just One Place

If You Could Live Anywhere in the World | Never Just One Place

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Confession: The day my husband gets a transfer order, I become suspiciously happy. 🤭If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? My answer is never as simple as naming one place.

    .

Most people hear the word transfer and immediately think about packing boxes, changing schools, endless paperwork and starting life all over again.

    .

I hear transfer and my brain goes,

“Ooo… where are we going this time?” 😄

    .

    I know.

    I sound slightly crazy.

But after all these years, I’ve accepted it. I don’t just enjoy new places…

    .

I actually look forward to them.

    .

    So when today’s prompt asked,

“If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?”

    .

    I realised something.

I don’t dream about one perfect place.

I dream about the excitement of discovering the next one.

    .

I Think Change Is My Favourite Adventure

    .

I’ve never been someone who can happily stay in one place forever.

    .

After a few years, everything becomes predictable.

    .

I know which road has the least traffic.

    .

Which grocery shop has the freshest vegetables.

    .

Which neighbour will ring the bell without calling first.

    .

Which bakery sells the softest bread.

    .

    And strangely…

    .

that’s exactly when I start craving something new.

    .

    Not because I’m bored.

    .

But because I love that feeling of being a beginner again.

    .

Thankfully, I married someone who understands that feeling.

    .

You know that saying, “Ram milaye jodi…”?

    .

    That’s us. 🤭

    .

    One transfer order…

    .

    Two overexcited people.

    .

Every New City Comes With New Stories

    .

I’m not saying moving is easy.

    .

    It’s not.

    .

Packing somehow creates three times more things than we actually own.

    .

School admissions deserve their own Olympic event.

    .

For the first few weeks, we open ten boxes before finding the one thing we need.

    .

    And somehow…

    .

the scissors are never in the box marked “Stationery.” 😂

    .

But then comes my favourite part.

    .

The first walk around the neighbourhood.

The excitement of discovering a tiny café.

    Finding the vegetable market.

    Learning shortcuts.

    Getting lost anyway.

Smiling at strangers who slowly stop becoming strangers.

    .

Every city has its own personality.

    Some wake up early.

    Some come alive after sunset.

Some welcome you with amazing food.

Others test your patience with traffic.

    Every place teaches me something.

    .

And every move quietly reminds me that I’m far more adaptable than I thought.

    .

If You Could Live Anywhere in the World, Here’s My Answer

    .

If you asked me to choose one place for the rest of my life…

    .

    I’d struggle.

Not because there aren’t beautiful places.

    But because I know myself.

    .

Sooner or later, I’d look out of the window and wonder,

“I wonder what life is like somewhere else.” 🤭

Maybe that’s why I don’t believe home is a city.

    .

    Or a house.

    Or even an address.’

    .

Home is wherever my family is…

and wherever life gives us another chance to begin again.

    .

So, if I could live anywhere in the world…

    .

My answer would probably disappoint everyone expecting the name of a country.

    .

    I’d simply say,

“Wherever the next adventure decides to take us.” ❤️

    .

    And honestly…

I can’t wait to see where that is.

    .

    Until the next beginning,
    Rajeshwari 🧿💕

  • A Little Chaos, A Lot of Great Stories

A Little Chaos, A Lot of Great Stories

Is a little chaos actually good for us?

A little chaos keeps life wonderfully interesting. After all, the best stories are rarely planned.

    .

    If you ask me… absolutely!

    .

In fact, I think a little chaos is one of life’s best ingredients. Too little, and life becomes predictable. Too much, and we’re calling customer care. The sweet spot lies somewhere in between.

    .

Imagine a day where everything goes exactly according to plan.

    .

    You wake up on time.

    Every traffic signal is green.

The queue at the supermarket disappears the moment you arrive.

    Your internet never buffers.

Your coffee is the perfect temperature.

Google Maps never makes a mistake.

    .

    Sounds wonderful…

    .

    For about three days.

    .

After that, you’d probably start looking for adventure in the vegetable aisle.

    .

The truth is, life without a little chaos would be like watching the same movie every single day. Comfortable? Yes. Memorable? Not at all.

    .

I’m talking about the harmless kind of chaos.

    .

The kind where you spend ten minutes looking for your glasses… only to realize they’re sitting on your head.😒

    .

Or you confidently wave at someone, only to discover they were actually waving at the person behind you.🫣

    .

    Embarrassing?😪

    A little.

    Funny later?

    Always.😌

    .

Why a Little Chaos Makes the Best Stories

    .

One of my favourite unexpected moments happened soon after we shifted to a new place.

    .

We had to reach somewhere important, so naturally, we trusted Google Maps with complete faith. It confidently guided us through one road… then another… then a road that looked like it hadn’t seen another car in years.

    .

    Still, we kept driving.

    .

Because if Google sounded confident, who were we to question technology?

    .

    Finally, we reached our destination.😍

    .

    Except…

    There was no destination.

    There was only water.

    Lots and lots of water.

    No office.

    No building.

    No signboard.

    .

Just us, sitting inside the car, staring into the distance, wondering if we’d accidentally signed up for a boat ride instead.

    .

To make things even more interesting, there wasn’t enough space to turn the car around. Reversing the car felt like a practical exam we hadn’t prepared for.

    .

And then came the line that still makes us laugh.

In the happiest voice imaginable, Google Maps proudly announced,

    .

“You have reached your destination.” 🤩

    .

    Excuse me…

    Which destination?

    .

The fish seemed to know where they were going.

    We certainly didn’t.

At that moment, it wasn’t funny.

    .

    Today?

It’s one of our favourite family stories.

    .

The Best Stories Are Never Planned

    .

And that’s exactly why I believe a little chaos is good for us.

    .

Our best memories rarely begin with,

“Everything went exactly according to plan.”

    They begin with,

    “You won’t believe what happened…”

    .

Those unexpected detours become dinner-table stories.

Those tiny disasters become inside jokes.

Those confusing moments become memories we laugh about for years.

    .

Life has a funny way of teaching us that the destination isn’t always the best part of the journey. Sometimes it’s the wrong turn, the unexpected delay, or the hilarious mistake that stays with us forever.

    .

If every day unfolded perfectly, what stories would we even tell?

    “I reached on time.”

    “Nothing happened.”

    “The day was normal.”

    .

    Well…

    .

That’s not exactly the kind of story people ask you to repeat.

So yes, I think a little chaos is actually good for us.

    .

    It keeps us humble.

    It keeps us flexible.

    .

Most importantly, it keeps life wonderfully interesting.

    .

Because years from now, we won’t remember the days when everything was perfect.

    .

We’ll remember the day Google Maps confidently introduced us to a lake and declared,

    “You have reached your destination.”

    .

    And honestly…

    I’m grateful it did.

    .

Those are the moments that turn ordinary days into unforgettable stories.

    .

    Now it’s your turn.

What’s your favourite little chaos moment—the one that was stressful then but absolutely hilarious now? I’d love to read your story in the comments!

    .

    Until our next unexpected adventure…

    With love,
    Rajeshwari 🧿💕

  • To the Hearts Behind the Words

To the Hearts Behind the Words

Who is your favorite blogger to follow?

When today’s prompt asked, “Who is your favorite blogger to follow?”, I smiled.

    .

    Have you ever noticed…

    .

Some people don’t simply appear on your screen.

They quietly become a part of your day.

    .

You wait for their next post.
You smile when their notification pops up.
    And without even realizing it…
they become a small, beautiful habit.

    .

    That’s exactly how I feel.

    .

Every blog I read leaves behind something precious.

    A thought.
    A smile.
    A lesson.
A different way of seeing the world.

    .

Every favorite blogger to follow has left a little piece of themselves behind—and I’ve been fortunate enough to carry those pieces with me.

    .

I’ve learned so much from all of you that keeping score became impossible long ago.

    .

Names were never the important part.

    The feeling was.

    .

Whenever I publish something, I catch myself checking my notifications more often than I’d like to admit.

    .

    “I wonder who’s visiting today…”

    .

    And then I remind myself…

You all have lives beyond WordPress.

You’re not sitting there waiting for my next post.

    (Although… if you are, I promise I won’t complain. 😄)

    .

But every time you stop by…

Every time you spend a few moments reading my words…

It feels like you’ve gifted me a tiny piece of your day.

    .

That kind of kindness can’t be measured in likes, comments, or followers.

    .

    It’s simply felt.

    .

    So if today’s prompt asks,

“Who is your favorite blogger to follow?”

    .

    My answer is easy.

It’s the people who remind me why I love this community.

The ones who make me smile before I’ve even opened their post.

The ones who have quietly become a part of my story.

    .

    Before you leave…

    Please know this.

You are far more appreciated than you realize.

    .

    Every visit makes me smile.
    Every comment stays with me.
    Every like quietly whispers,

    “Keep writing.”

    .

    Thank you for being here.

    For reading.
    For encouraging.
    For inspiring.

    .

    And most of all…

For turning my words into conversations,
and this journey into something truly meaningful.

    .

If you ever wondered whether you matter here…

    you do.

    More than you know.

More than I’ve ever found the words to say.

    .

Thank you for reminding me that words have the most beautiful way of bringing strangers together…

    .

…until they begin to feel like home.

    .

You may have come here to read my words…

    but somewhere along the way,

you became one of the reasons
    I never stopped writing them.

    .

    And if, while reading this,
    you found yourself smiling…

    .

    please keep that smile.

    Because chances are…

this was written with you in mind.

    .

I’m grateful for each one of you.

More than words can ever say.

    .

Maybe that’s what makes this community feel so special.

    .

    We begin as strangers…

    and somewhere along the way,

become a part of each other’s stories.

    .

    Until the next story…

  • The Friendship Terms & Conditions I Forgot to Read

The Friendship Terms & Conditions I Forgot to Read

What’s a lesson you’ve learned recently that shifted your perspective?

The biggest friendship lesson I’ve learned recently? Trust is beautiful, but blind trust can be expensive. Sometimes people leave—not because you failed, but because their chapter in your story was only meant to be that long.

The Friendship Terms & Conditions I Forgot to Read

One lesson has quietly changed the way I look at people.

Apparently, not everyone who says, “Trust me,” comes with a warranty.

Once upon a time, I believed friendship worked like Wi-Fi.
If we connected, I stayed connected.
    No questions asked.
    No background check.
    No software updates.

    Spoiler alert:
That version of me has now been discontinued.

I used to think trusting someone completely was a beautiful quality.
    It still is.
    Just… not on Day One.

Life has taught me that some people are meant to stay.
    Some are simply passing through.
And some arrive only to leave behind a life lesson wrapped in the gift paper of disappointment.

    The funny part?

When trust breaks, your brain suddenly turns into a full-time detective.

“Wait… was that a red flag?”

“Oh… so THAT’S what they meant.”

“Wonderful. My hindsight has finally joined the conversation.”

It hurts. Of course it does.
Because you don’t mourn the friendship alone.
You also mourn the version of yourself that believed it would last forever.

But here’s the perspective that changed everything for me…

Maybe their chapter was never meant to become your whole book.

    Some people are a paragraph.
    Some are a plot twist.
Some are simply the editor who teaches you what you’ll never publish again.

And then life does something unexpected.

    It quietly introduces new people.

People who don’t make you question your worth.
People who don’t leave you guessing.
People who don’t heal you with grand speeches, but with consistency, kindness, and the peace they bring into your life.

So no, a broken friendship isn’t always the ending.

Sometimes it’s just life clearing a seat for someone better.

    Now I still trust people.

I just let trust grow at walking speed instead of giving it a Formula One car on the very first day.

Turns out, that’s much easier on the heart… and far less expensive for the emotional repair department.

Keep your heart kind… just don’t skip the Terms & Conditions. 😉

  • What Do I Do to Improve My Sleep? (Spoiler: I Don’t!)

What Do I Do to Improve My Sleep? (Spoiler: I Don’t!)

What do you do to improve your sleep?

Every time someone asks how I improve my sleep, I feel slightly guilty.

    .

Because apparently, I’m supposed to have a routine.

    .

People brew chamomile tea, meditate, journal, switch off screens an hour before bed, spray lavender on their pillows, play rainforest sounds, and count sheep like they’re preparing for the Olympics of Sleeping.

    .

    Meanwhile…

    .

    I simply go to bed.

    .

    Well… almost.

    .

    There is one tiny obstacle.

    .

    My brain.

    .

The same brain that has remained suspiciously quiet all day suddenly becomes the CEO of Midnight Meetings Pvt. Ltd.

    .

“Remember that awkward thing you said five years ago?”

“What if tomorrow’s conversation goes terribly wrong?”

“Shouldn’t we also plan next month’s grocery list… right now?”

    .

    Seriously?

    .

You’ve had sixteen waking hours to bring this up.

Now you want a board meeting?

    .

    Sorry.

    .

    Office hours are over.

    Please send an email.

    .

Most nights, I politely decline the invitation.

    .

Because every extra minute spent overthinking is a minute stolen from perfectly good sleep.

    .

And I refuse to let imaginary problems rob me of real rest.

    .

So, touchwood, I’ve never really had to improve my sleep.

    .

The moment my head finally reaches the pillow, it’s game over.

    .

    No lavender.

    No sleep apps.

    No breathing exercises.

No smart gadgets congratulating me for existing.

    Just one pillow…

    …and lights out.

    .

If I have one piece of bedtime advice, it’s this:

Don’t let your brain schedule meetings after business hours.

    .

Nothing productive has ever happened at 2 a.m.
Except winning imaginary debates against people who have no idea they’re involved.

    .

    Sleep is free.
    Overthinking is expensive.
    I’ve decided to invest wisely.

    .

Because tomorrow deserves a well-rested version of me,

not the one who stayed awake arguing with imaginary situations.

    .

So, if I have one sleep secret, it’s this…

    .

I don’t chase sleep anymore. I stop chasing thoughts, switch off the day, and let my pillow do the rest.

    .

    Until silence finds another story…
    With love,

My Mind Walked 5000 Steps Today | Nihshabd

Hit 5,000 steps today and drop your achievement here — we’re cheering you on!

My Mind Walked 5000 Steps Today. It may sound like I went on a long walk, but the truth is, those steps happened inside my mind.

    Everyone’s dropping their 5,000-step victories.

    .

Meanwhile, I’m over here proudly completing 5,000 thoughts instead.

    .

😄 My mind has been running a marathon all day, even if my feet haven’t moved much.

    .

Some days, life asks us to slow down rather than speed up. And that’s okay. Tomorrow is another chance to lace up my shoes, step outside, and let my feet do a little of the work my mind has been doing.

    .

Until then, I’m celebrating the tiny victories too because every journey starts with just one step, even if that step comes tomorrow. 🤍

    .

My Mind Walked 5000 Steps Today reminded me that not every journey is measured by a fitness tracker. Sometimes, the longest journeys happen quietly within us.

Celebrating the little victories with you, always.
    With love,

  • Let’s Borrow a Little Joy

    Let’s Borrow a Little Joy

    Come…

    .

    Let’s borrow
    a little happiness
    from the moon tonight.

    .

    Just a handful.

    .

    The sky
    has been saving it
    for someone
    who still remembers
    how to look up.

    .

    We’ll gather
    a few golden sparkles…

    .

    not because
    they’re rare,

    but because
    we’ve forgotten
    how often they appear.

    .

    Let’s slip
    a pocketful of stars
    into this little bag.

    .

    I’m sure
    the sky won’t mind.

    It has never
    counted its treasures.

    .

    And look…

    .

    the fireflies
    have already found us.

    Don’t chase them.

    Joy has a funny habit…

    .

    it always comes closer
when we stop running after it.

    .

    Perhaps
    one or two
    will quietly wander
    into our little bag,

    bringing along
    their tiny lanterns
    for the days
    our hearts
    forget their own light.

    .

    A wandering breeze
    might join us too.

    .

    If it does,
    don’t stop it.

    .

    Some winds
    carry the scent of flowers.

    .

    Some carry rain.

    .

    And some…

    .

    carry the quiet courage
    to begin again.

    .

    Look…

    .

    the fog
    is slowly hiding
    the edges of the world.

    .

    Maybe that’s its way
    of saying…

    .

    “Not everything beautiful
    needs to be seen clearly.”

    .

    So let’s not hurry.

    .

    Let’s collect
    whatever the night
    is willing to share.

    .

    A little moonlight.

    A little wonder.

    A little impossible.

    .

    And just enough hope
    to make tomorrow
    feel a little kinder.

    .

    We’ll carry it home
    in the simplest little bag.

    .

    Because happiness
    has always preferred
    ordinary pockets…

    over golden boxes.

    .

    And if,
    by morning,

    someone asks
    where all this light
    came from…

    .

    let’s just smile…

    and whisper,

“The moon was feeling generous tonight.” 🌙✨

    .

Until we borrow a little more moonlight…
    With love,
