The Love We Don’t Post About: Finding Love in Little Things

The Love We Don’t Post About – couple sitting together at sunset

The Kind of Love Nobody Posts About ❤️

Love is surprisingly unromantic sometimes.

It isn’t always roses, candlelight,
or two people staring into each other’s eyes
like the electricity bill doesn’t exist. 😄

.

Sometimes, love is simply—

“Did you eat?”

“Take an umbrella.”

“Text me when you reach.”

.

Basically, an unpaid reminder app
with feelings.

.

It is making tea exactly the way they like it,
saving the last piece of their favourite dessert
and pretending,

“I wasn’t hungry anyway.”

It is knowing that “I’m fine”
does not actually mean fine

.

and wisely choosing not to ask,
“Are you sure?”

.

Love is remembering the little things—
their favourite song,
the way they take their coffee,
what makes them laugh,
and when they need words…

.

or just a quiet hug.

It is the blanket pulled over sleeping feet.

.

The message that says,
“Reached?”

.

The snack brought home without being asked.

And after a completely unnecessary argument—

“So… tea?”

Because somehow,
even after all the drama,

love still wants to make tea. ❤️

.

Maybe the greatest love stories
aren’t the ones that make everyone say, “Wow!”

.

Maybe they’re the quiet ones
that simply make two people think,

“I’m glad you’re here.”

And honestly…

isn’t that enough?

(Although I am still keeping
the last piece of dessert.) 😄❤️

.

Until the next whisper,

Everything was deeply poetic and accurate until you mentioned keeping the last piece of dessert. That’s where true love gets tested! 😂Wonderful post.

Haha, exactly! 😂🤍 Apparently, love can survive arguments, silence and even “I’m fine”… but the last piece of dessert? That’s where things get serious! 🍰😄 Thank you so much for reading it with such warmth!🦋✨

Rajeshwari, this is such a beautiful and honest take on love! ❤️ The ‘unpaid reminder app with feelings’ is hands down the most accurate description of quiet, everyday romance. It’s the ‘Reached?’ texts, the tea made just right, and the knowing silence that actually build the strongest bonds. And I absolutely love the hilarious twist about keeping the last piece of dessert—now that’s real love! 😄 Thanks for this gentle reminder that the quiet moments are the loudest. Until the next whisper!🌹

The love you wrote about is soothing, doubly , refined, sweet, and if it remains so people will hardly fall out of it!
Thanks for these flowing joys leaping out of the pages to soothe out minds.

What a beautiful way to put it. 🤍 Thank you for reading it with such warmth. Perhaps love, when it stays gentle, thoughtful and sweet, needs very little else. So glad the words brought you a little joy and calm. 🌷🦋✨

Good evening! I really like the twist of keeping the last piece of dessert! That is true love! 😂 Thank you so much for making my day brighter. ☺️

The word ‘love’ was used 6 times (including the title), 3 hearts +1 double heart and 0 butterflies 😂😂😂 that’s my way of showing a little love, in numbers 😂😂😂

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Hahaha! 😂🤍 Now that is some serious love analytics! Six “loves,” three hearts, one double heart and zero butterflies… I clearly need to work harder on my butterfly department! 🦋😂❤️ Your way of showing love in numbers just made my day!

This is so beautifully true, Rajeshwari ❤️ Love really lives in these tiny, everyday gestures. And yes… I’m keeping the last piece of dessert too! 😄❤️

I like it nothing special just simple care and true affection

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Exactly. ❤️🤍 Sometimes the simplest care carries the deepest affection nothing grand, just genuine and quietly felt. 🦋🌷✨

  10. umadasila Avatar

Such a beautiful reminder that love doesn’t always need grand gestures. ❤️ It often hides in the smallest acts of care. The “Did you eat?”, “Reached?”, and especially the “So… tea?” after an argument say more about love than a hundred romantic declarations ever could. 🥹☕

The most beautiful kind of love is the one that quietly says, “I’m here, I notice you, and I care.” And yes, keeping the last piece of dessert is completely justified! 😄❤️

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Thank you so much Uma!🤍 You’ve captured the heart of the piece so beautifully. Sometimes love is simply noticing, caring, and staying and yes, if there’s a last piece of dessert involved, that’s where true love gets seriously tested! 😄☕🍰✨

  11. samaysakshi Avatar

Yes very True, we make quite love most of the time, perhaps it is the period of romance which is usually short, which is loud in expressing otherwise we live and love silently only.

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

So beautifully said. 🤍 Perhaps the loudest love is at the beginning, but the quiet love that follows is the one that truly stays. 🦋🌷✨

Apostolic Prayer Against Distractions and Addictions

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I align my life today with the order of Your divine destiny.
By the authority of the Believer and in the power of the Holy Spirit, I command every voice of distraction targeted at my focus, my vision, and my spiritual assignment to be silenced now!
Every subtle weight, every fleshly urge, and every demonic structure engineered to sap my spiritual authority and consume my time be broken by fire!
I declare total deliverance from every form of addiction, bondage, and unhealthy attachment.
Father, let the fire of Your holiness sweep through my mind, my body, and my desires. Where Satan intended to bring compromise, let the blood of Jesus enforce my liberty today.
I receive divine focus, supernatural discipline, and an unwavering clarity of purpose.
I will not waste seasons; I will not miss my appointed time.
My eyes are fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith.
    In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

This type of simple love stories in my life is fine for me……still waiting for that to happen…😅

Definition of Love made simple. Our Bollywood has fantasised the love too much about romance. But live is caring, love is sharing and also being there when needed. Thanks for sharing 👍

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Absolutely Mukund ji! 🤍 Bollywood has definitely made love look like grand gestures and dramatic romance, while real love is often much simpler caring, sharing, understanding, and simply being there. Thank you for putting it so beautifully! 🦋✨

      1. Mukund Karadkhedkar Avatar

        My pleasure 😇

The greatest love stories are the ones that no one knows, hence no one talks about. They happen in between the cooking, cleaning, working non stop trying to make life a better place.

It lives in the peaceful silences and the boisterous laughter in shared spaces and within hearts. That simple call me when you reach says what an epic love letter can never! You said it Rajeshwariji. The best love stories exist in the mundaneness of our existence. The question is, do we care enough to notice it?

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Absolutely Lalitha! 🤍 The most beautiful love often hides in the little, ordinary things we barely notice. That simple “call me when you reach” can carry a lifetime of love. And yes, perhaps the real question is whether we pause long enough to notice it. ✨🦋

  20. Dr Priya Avatar

Why ppl are not this simple ! Life becomes beautiful when such love exists between two!! well written!!!

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Thank you so much for your lovely words Priya. 😊 Truly, a little kindness, understanding, and love can make relationships and life so much more beautiful. 🌸🦋✨
