For Every Woman Who Forgot Her Spark✨

Back view of a young Indian woman standing by the sea at sunset, reflecting on self-discovery, inner strength, and reconnecting with the spark she once thought she had lost.

Don’t Lose the Spark

Somewhere between growing up
and holding everything together,
many of us learned a strange lesson—

How to be responsible,
but not how to stay alive inside.

We learned to answer messages,
meet deadlines,
pay bills,
carry burdens.

But slowly, without noticing,

we stopped laughing so hard our stomach hurt.

We stopped dancing in the kitchen.

We stopped doing things simply because they made us happy.

The world applauds the woman who sacrifices herself for everyone.

Rarely does it applaud the woman who refuses to disappear.

So this is your reminder:

The spark was never childish.

The spark was never foolish.

The spark was you.

It was the part of you that believed life was meant to be lived,
not merely survived.

The part that laughed too loudly,
dreamed too boldly,
loved too deeply.

Please don’t trade her away
for acceptance.

Don’t bury her beneath expectations.

And don’t confuse exhaustion with maturity.

Because one day you’ll realize—

The most beautiful thing about you was never your perfection.

It was that wild, glowing, unapologetic light
that made people feel warmer just by standing near you.

So wear the bright lipstick.

Take the silly photo.

Laugh at your own joke.

Start again.

Be too much for people who prefer less.

And if anyone tells you to dim your light,

smile and let them wear sunglasses.

The world doesn’t need another woman who fits in.
It desperately needs the one who remembers who she is.

A beautiful and empowering piece, Rajeshwari. ✨💖

I loved the central message that growing older and becoming responsible should never mean losing the joy, wonder, and authenticity that make us who we are. The line “The spark was never childish. The spark was you.” is especially powerful and memorable.

✨ Rajeshwari, this is absolutely beautiful. Every single word landed exactly where it needed to. You’ve put into poetry what so many of us feel but can never say — that quiet fading, that forgetting of our own spark in the name of being “responsible.”

Thank you for this reminder to dance in the kitchen again, to laugh too loudly, and to refuse to disappear. You write like someone who has felt deeply and still chose to shine. Never stop being that wild, glowing light — the world needs more of you, not less.

Sending you warmth and gratitude. Keep writing, keep sparkling. 🖤✨

People applaud women who learn to erase their essence and become a machine solely for the purpose of serving others. That’s what the wretched society wants!

And any woman who lives for herself is labelled selfish and unfit 🙂 because when you love yourself, you stop being a servant, and that simply won’t do for the patriarchy!

The beauty of hair is truly unique, it holds a high place in a woman’s beauty. However, the stream of life sometimes causes suffering. It is a good post.”❤️✨

    Dear Rajeshwari Ji,🙏

Reading your piece felt as though the soul of a modern woman lost somewhere amid the rush and responsibilities of life had found its voice and was sharing both its pain and its wisdom. Society has taught women countless lessons in sacrifice, duty, and endurance, yet it has rarely taught them how to preserve the lively, dream-filled spirit that resides within.

With simple yet powerful words, you remind us that life is not merely about carrying responsibilities; it is also about nurturing the joy, enthusiasm, and authenticity that make us truly alive. A woman who loses herself may give much to the world, but she risks losing the most precious part of her own existence.

The message, “Do not let your light grow dim,” is especially touching. A person’s greatest wealth is often their inner vitality, confidence, and the natural radiance that shines from within.

A deeply inspiring, sensitive, and thought-provoking piece. Its message extends beyond women it speaks to anyone who has left a part of their true self behind while fulfilling the demands of life.

With sincere appreciation and regards. 🌹🙏

I feel same for men’s also. I think everyone have to maintain their kid inside. If you don’t take care of this yourself, no one will come to remind you of it.
