Stories I Wish I Could Create Every Day

What do you wish you could do more every day?

A digital caricature of Indian actress Rekha, depicted in a dramatic deep red draped outfit with a statement headpiece, bold makeup, and traditional jewelry, set against a dark textured background that enhances her regal and timeless presence.
“Rekha ji—timeless, effortless, unforgettable.”

**She doesn’t arrive,

she happens.

Like a pause

the world didn’t know it needed—

deep, composed,

and unapologetically her.

Red, not as a color…

but as a statement.**

A digital illustration of an Indian bride wearing a richly detailed red lehenga with intricate gold embroidery, paired with traditional jewelry and a neatly styled bun, standing gracefully against a soft textured background.
“A legacy, draped in red.”

**And somewhere,

a girl stands draped in echoes—

of mothers,

of rituals,

of quiet expectations.

But look closer…

She isn’t just wearing tradition,

she is rewriting it—

in her own rhythm,

in her own breath.**

A vibrant digital illustration of an Indian wedding couple dancing joyfully under a floral arch, wearing colorful traditional outfits, capturing movement, celebration, and togetherness.
“Two souls, one rhythm.”

**Then the world loosens a little…

Laughter slips in,

steps miss,

hands find their way anyway.

No perfection,

no performance—

just two people

choosing each other

in the middle of movement.**

.

Maybe that’s what I wish for—

to create more moments like these…

where people don’t just look beautiful,

they feel real.

  1. This is very beautiful. It feels simple and real.I like how you show different moments in a calm way. The line about changing tradition in your own way is very nice.

  2. Perhaps what we all long for, in some silent corner of our being, is not just more moments… but more truthful moments.
Moments where beauty is not arranged, but revealed.
Where emotions are not performed, but felt.
    Like she said
    not perfection, not performance…
    just presence.
Maybe what I wish for each day
is to pause a little more,
    to notice the in-between spaces
    where a glance lingers,
where a smile forms without reason,
where life is not curated… but simply lived.
    Because in the end,
it’s not the grand scenes we carry
    but these small, honest fragments
    that quietly become our forever.

    1. This truly felt special to read Vijay ji… 🤍
There’s something very rare about seeing your own words travel into someone else’s thoughts and return as something entirely new, yet deeply connected.✨ Your lines carry such quiet depth and honesty it feels like the same emotion found another voice, another rhythm. I’m really grateful that my poem could spark something so meaningful in you. Moments like these remind me why we write at all…to be felt, understood, and sometimes, to gently continue in someone else’s words. Thank you so much Vijay ji✨🤍

  3. You are truly multi-talented. I thoroughly enjoyed your poetic story. It was rich with emotion. Beautifully done.👌👌✨

  4. Rajeshwari, this is breathtaking. The way you redefine tradition—not as a constraint but as something she “rewrites in her own rhythm”—is so powerful. And that final wish, for moments where people “don’t just look beautiful, they feel real,” is what everyone secretly hopes for. Thank you for capturing it so perfectly.🌷🤝
