What’s one small improvement you can make in your life?
“Maybe the smallest improvement I can make is treating myself like someone I actually plan to keep for a long time.”
.
Which honestly means drinking more water and having fewer imaginary arguments in the shower.
.
Maybe it means sleeping on time instead of collecting emotional damage and dark circles like limited edition souvenirs.
.
Maybe it’s learning that I deserve the same softness I so casually pour into everyone else like warm chai on rainy evenings, like fairy lights glowing quietly in a messy room, like finding one stubborn little firefly still shining in the dark. ✨
.
And perhaps healing isn’t some dramatic movie montage. Maybe it’s just: buying yourself flowers for no reason, laughing at your own jokes, walking slowly after the rain, letting your heart do tiny butterfly dances again, and no longer treating your happiness like a guest who should leave early.
.
Because life feels strangely lighter when you stop behaving like you’re temporary. 🌈
.
Maybe that’s the real surprise adulthood never warned us about that peace does not arrive with fireworks and background music. Sometimes it arrives quietly… through clean bedsheets, a favorite song at midnight, unexpected compliments, sleepy smiles, and those rare sparkling moments when your heart suddenly whispers, “wait… life is actually beautiful today.” ✨
.
And maybe loving yourself is not always deep or poetic. Maybe sometimes it’s wonderfully silly dancing badly while cooking, watching the rain like it personally wrote a love letter to your soul, smiling at strangers, buying snacks as emotional support, and protecting your inner light like a tiny jar full of fireflies glowing against the dark.
.
Because after everything, I think we all deserve a life that feels a little softer… a little warmer… a little more like butterflies, rainbows, laughter, rain-soaked evenings, and coming home to yourself again. 🦋🌧️✨
.
Tiny acts of softness can save a heart quietly learning to stay. 🌈✨
Share a story about someone who had a positive impact on your life.
Honestly… at this point, my entire life feels like one long educational group project where everyone came to teach me something. 😭✨
.
Some people came like motivational speakers
“Believe in yourself.” “Follow your dreams.” “Stay positive.”
.
And some came like unpaid life coaches disguised as red flags. 🚩😂
.
One taught me patience by replying after 3 business days.
.
One taught me self-respect by underestimating me.
.
One taught me boundaries by crossing every possible one.
.
One taught me trust… and then personally demonstrated why trust issues exist. 😭
.
But if I’m being real, every person left behind something valuable.
.
The kind ones reminded me that humanity is still soft somewhere beneath all the noise.
.
The difficult ones taught me strength I didn’t know I had.
.
The temporary ones taught me that not everyone is meant to stay forever… and that’s okay.
.
And the people who hurt me the most? Surprisingly, they pushed me closest to myself.
.
Because after every disappointment, every awkward ending, every silent goodbye… I met a newer version of me. A stronger one. A calmer one. A wiser one.
.
So when people ask, “Who had the biggest positive impact on your life?”
.
I genuinely cannot choose one person.
.
Some healed me with love. Some healed me with lessons. Both mattered.
.
And maybe that’s the beautiful thing about life not everyone enters our story to stay, some simply arrive to help us become who we were meant to be. 🌸✨
.
Some people became memories, some became lessons… all became a part of me. 🌸✨
Freedom, for me, is very simple… not having to ask anyone before choosing my own happiness. ✨
.
Because the moment your happiness starts depending on people’s permission, moods, replies, opinions, timing, or “dekhenge”… that’s not freedom anymore. That’s unpaid emotional internship.🫣😅
.
Freedom is laughing without lowering my volume. Going out without giving a TED Talk explanation. Buying small things that heal my inner child. Saying “no” without writing a 14-page apology letter in my head afterwards. 😂
.
It’s being around people who feel light.😌 The kind who make life softer, funnier, easier. Where friendship feels like chaos + comfort together. Where support comes naturally. Where love doesn’t feel like surveillance. 🤍
.
Freedom is not overthinking every tiny thing. Not rereading messages like an FBI officer. Not sitting there wondering “Did I say too much?” “Did I sound weird?” “Should I disappear forever now?” 😒
.
It’s being carefree enough to romanticize little moments… good coffee, random drives, late-night conversations, butterflies in the stomach, silly jokes, dramatic playlists, and people who make your heart smile quietly. 🦋✨
.
And honestly? I think real freedom is when your heart finally feels safe being itself… without performing, proving, shrinking, or begging to be understood.
.
Bas… aise log mil jayein life mein jinke saath you can be completely yourself — witty, emotional, dramatic, strong, soft, annoying, funny… all at once 😭🤍 then life already feels magical.
And maybe that’s the kind of freedom we all deserve… a life where we don’t have to abandon ourselves just to be loved by others. 🌻
.
Maybe freedom is just this… being yourself without feeling guilty for it. 🦋✨
Happy Mother’s Day ❤️🌷
.
My mother… is the most beautiful lesson of my life. ❤️
.
I have seen her remain calm through every situation, hold everyone together even while breaking silently inside, and do everything for the people she loves without ever saying a word. 🌸
.
She did not just teach me how to live… she taught me self-respect, courage, and that the true strength of a woman lies in the softness of her heart. ❤️
.
So if today I can still hold myself together during difficult days, if love still survives inside me despite the world changing around me… it is because of my mother. 🙂
.
Because strong women do not always make noise… sometimes, they simply love their daughters so deeply that they stop fearing life itself. 🌷
.
For all the mothers out there… ❤️
.
Some mothers never express their love through words… they simply spend their entire lives quietly pouring it into their children. 🌸
.
There is comfort in their prayers, the safest place in the world in their embrace, and it is because of them that a house truly feels like home. 🙂
.
To every mother in the world love, respect, and heartfelt gratitude. Happy Mother’s Day ❤️🌷
Some days I was supposed to become a famous illustrator. Some days, a writer. Sometimes I discover a new talent at 2 a.m. and immediately plan an entire successful future around it before sleeping peacefully like a visionary.
.
Homemakers are actually full of potential. Dangerous amounts of potential.
.
We can manage homes, budgets, emotions, schedules, disasters, and people who suddenly remember important things exactly when we sit down to rest.
.
But somewhere between taking care of everyone else’s needs and postponing ourselves “just for now,” our dreams slowly stop sounding like plans… and start sounding like hobbies we apologize for having.
.
That’s the strange thing about homemakers. We don’t give up on our dreams dramatically.
.
We just keep moving them to tomorrow so lovingly, so responsibly, so repeatedly… that one day even the dream starts feeling guilty for existing.
.
And maybe this is true for so many women — they never really stopped having dreams, ambitions, or career plans. They just became so busy building everyone else’s life that their own quietly kept waiting.
.
But I hope they never believe it is “too late” for them. Because dreams do not expire simply because a woman chose responsibility before herself.
.
And one day, I hope every woman gets to return to the version of herself she once imagined not as someone selfish, but as someone finally remembering that her life mattered too. 🤍
.
Dedicated to all the women who kept everyone else’s world running while quietly placing their own dreams on hold.
.
Some women keep becoming everyone else’s future… while postponing their own. 🤍
Last year, I watched Indian Ocean perform at a small live show, and somehow that night still feels unfinished inside me. ✨
.
It wasn’t a loud concert with giant screens and endless chaos. It was intimate, warm, almost personal the kind of evening where music doesn’t stay on the stage… it slowly finds its way into people’s hearts.
.
And maybe that’s exactly what Indian Ocean has always done.
.
For years, they have created music that feels less like performance and more like storytelling blending rock, folk, sufism, poetry, and soul in a way very few bands ever could.
.
And what makes them even more beautiful is that they never stayed limited to just one sound, one language, or one culture. Their music travels through different parts of India carrying pieces of regional folk, languages, traditions, and emotions with it. Sometimes their songs feel like mountains, sometimes rivers, sometimes prayers, sometimes long journeys under open skies.
.
Whether it’s “Bandeh,”“Ma Rewa,”“Kandisa,” or “Des Mera,” every song feels like it belongs to people from different places, yet somehow speaks the same language of emotion.
.
That night, people sat close to each other, smiling softly, already humming songs before they even began. No one seemed in a hurry. It felt like everyone had come there carrying memories they never fully talk about.
.
And then they played “Bandeh.”
.
The first few notes floated into the open night sky so gently that even silence seemed to stop and listen. ✨
.
No screaming crowd. No dramatic madness. Just strangers singing together like old friends who had somehow survived the same storms.
.
I remember looking around and seeing people completely lost in the music eyes closed, tiny smiles, fingers tapping softly on tables, someone whisper-singing lyrics like a prayer they had known forever.
.
And honestly… that’s the magic of Indian Ocean.
.
They don’t make songs for trends. They make songs that feel lived in. Songs that carry roots, memories, dust, longing, love, silence and somehow turn all of it into music.
.
For those few minutes, life became beautifully simple. Soft lights. Familiar lyrics. Music echoing slowly through the room. And hearts feeling lighter than before.
.
Some bands are heard. Some bands are felt.
.
And Indian Ocean stays with you long after the last note fades away. 💜
.
.
Some nights become memories. Some songs become home. ✨💜
For me, being involved in the community begins with something I have been taught since childhood — Daan. Whether it is Annadaan (offering food), Vidyadaan (sharing knowledge), Vastradaan (donating clothes), or Deepdaan (offering light), the value of giving has always been a part of our upbringing.
As an introvert, I may not always be able to participate loudly or publicly, but I truly believe kindness does not need attention to make a difference. Even the smallest act of giving can bring warmth, dignity, and hope into someone’s life.
.
Daan is important because it keeps humanity alive within a community. It teaches us gratitude, compassion, and the understanding that what we have is meant to be shared too. And if we stop practicing these values, the coming generations may never truly learn the beauty of giving.
.
That is why it is important that each of us contributes in whatever way we can. One person may give food, another knowledge, another time, support, or simply kindness. Every form of giving matters, because together, these small acts make a community stronger, kinder, and more humane.
.
What we give with love, lives on through generations.
People think that the world runs on appearances… but the truth is, hearts still fall for simplicity.
Too much shine may impress the eyes, but simplicity… it quietly reaches the soul. It makes no noise, yet carries a strange kind of magic… the kind that slowly finds a home inside someone’s heart.
I never tried to become someone else, I simply remained who I was. I never decorated my words, nor hid my emotions behind masks… whatever lived in my heart, I chose to live it truthfully.
Yes, because of that, many times I seemed different from others, many times I stood alone too… because not everyone understands simplicity. Some people are attracted to glitter, while some seek the peace that only a genuine heart can offer.
And strangely enough, when people grow tired, they eventually look for comfort in the ones who are real, not the ones who only appear beautiful.
Simplicity is not weakness… it is the most beautiful language of love. It holds warmth, it holds peace, and it carries that rare happiness which comes not from impressing others, but simply from living wholeheartedly. ✨
What’s a job you would like to do for just one day?
What’s a job I would like to do for just one day?
.
Being a mom. Oh wait… I already am one. Then let me correct myself
.
I would like to survive my own job for one full day without questioning my life choices every 17 minutes. 🙂
Because apparently, according to everyone else, moms “stay at home.”
Such a cute sentence. Very fictional.
.
People say it like we spend the day sipping coffee dramatically near a window while soft piano music plays in the background.
.
Meanwhile, real life looks like:
.
“Mommmmm where’s my sock?” “Mommmmm he touched me!” “Mommmmm what’s for lunch?” “Mommmmm why are you angry?”
.
I don’t know, sweetheart. Maybe because I’ve answered 43 questions before sunrise. 🌝
.
Being a mom is basically working as a chef, cleaner, therapist, detective, nurse, referee, professional finder of missing objects, and emotional support human…
for clients who pay in crumbs and attitude.
.
And somehow… I’m also expected to remember everything.
.
Vaccination dates? Yes. School projects? Yes. Everyone’s favorite snacks? Yes. Where your lost toy from 2019 disappeared? Unfortunately, yes.
.
Somewhere between school projects, Mario races, unfinished homework, Ludo fights that suddenly turn into world wars, and dramatic complaints like “HE GOT THE BIGGER CHOCOLATE”…
.
moms somehow become full-time peacekeepers too. 🙂
.
One minute we’re teaching spelling words, the next minute we’re fixing toy disasters, judging who started the fight, and pretending not to laugh while brothers stand there like rival lawyers presenting courtroom arguments about who cheated in Mario game. 😭
.
And after nearly breaking each other’s hands and legs during WWE-level fighting matches…
.
they casually say, “It’s a brothers thing, Mom… don’t worry.” 🙂
.
DON’T WORRY???
.
Sir, one child is holding his arm dramatically like he just returned from war. 😭
.
But the funniest part?
.
After driving me completely insane all day… these same tiny humans suddenly become the sweetest people on earth by night.
.
“Mom, do you have a headache?” “Should I press your head?” “Want me to bring water?” 😭❤️
.
And just like that… the entire day’s irritation disappears faster than snacks in this house. 🙂
.
Honestly, motherhood is emotional blackmail mixed with unlimited love. 😭
.
Also, the moment I sit down… someone suddenly remembers they have needs.
.
It’s honestly fascinating. I should be studied by scientists.
.
I can be invisible for 3 hours while cleaning, but the second I sit with a cup of tea
.
“MOM.”
.
No hello. No breathing space. Just MOM.
.
At this point, my tea isn’t a beverage. It’s a time-sensitive emergency challenge. ☕
.
And let’s talk about the magical powers moms develop.
.
I can remember everybody’s schedules better than my own. I can cook while answering questions, checking homework, and listening to three different stories at the same time.
.
I can also sense danger immediately… especially when the house suddenly becomes too quiet. 🙂
.
Because silence in a house with kids never means peace. It usually means somebody is either eating secretly, fighting secretly, or planning something they’ll later say was “just for fun.” 😭
.
Also, moms don’t rest peacefully. We simply close our eyes while mentally tracking snacks, bottles, school things, and the suspicious silence in the next room. 🙂
.
And despite doing 700 things a day, if one thing is forgotten…
.
everyone acts like civilization is collapsing. 🙂
.
But honestly? As exhausting as it is… there’s something weirdly beautiful about it too.
.
Because somehow, between the chaos, the noise, the missing socks, the reheated coffee, the Mario rematches, the tiny emotional breakdowns, and the random “Mom look at me!” moments
Still though… if anyone asks what job I’d like to do for just one day?
.
I’d say: Mine.
.
Just to understand how moms manage to hold an entire house together, lose their patience 14 times a day, find it again by evening… and still end the night by asking,
.
“Did everyone eat properly?” ❤️
.
Like honestly… where does all this love even come from😍
.
A mother’s world… wrapped in love, laughter & endless “MOMMMM!” calls ❤️🥹
