Personal Mantra: Four Little Rules That Keep Me Sane 😂

Personal mantra and four simple life rules by Nihshabd

What’s a personal mantra or philosophy you live by?

If you ask me about my personal mantra or philosophy, I don’t have one big, impressive answer.

Over the years, I’ve simply collected a few little rules that make life easier—and me a little less likely to lose my mind. 😂

1. Stay busy, mind my own business.

This one has brought me a surprising amount of peace.

I like being busy with my own things—writing, creating, learning, trying something new, going somewhere, or simply enjoying my day.

The busier I am with my own life, the less interested I become in what everyone else is doing.

And honestly, that works beautifully for me.

I don’t need to know who said what, who is upset with whom, or why someone suddenly stopped talking to someone.

My own life already has enough plot twists. I don’t need to audition for somebody else’s. 😂

I’ve learned that not everything needs my opinion, my reaction, or my involvement.

Sometimes, minding your own business is simply choosing peace.

I don’t think we’re ever too old to learn something new.

2. My Personal Mantra: Keep Learning, Keep Creating, Keep Moving

There is always another skill to pick up, another idea to explore, something to write, something to create—or something that makes me say, “Okay, I clearly have no idea what I’m doing.” 😂

But that’s part of the fun.

I’d rather be curious than convinced that I already know everything.

I’d rather try something and get it slightly wrong than never try it at all.

Keep learning. Keep creating. Keep moving.

Not necessarily fast.

Just don’t let yourself become a permanent resident of the comfort zone.

3. Don’t compare your behind-the-scenes with someone else’s highlight reel.

This one took me some time to learn.

We see people travelling, achieving things, looking fabulous, building businesses, celebrating milestones—and sometimes it feels like everyone else is doing wonderfully while we are still trying to remember where we kept our phone. 😂

But I remind myself:

I know my whole story. I only see a tiny part of theirs.

I know my difficult days, my unfinished plans, my mistakes and my doubts.

Someone else’s social media post doesn’t show me all of that.

So I can admire someone’s life without feeling behind in mine.

I can be happy for someone without turning their success into a measurement of my own.

Everyone’s timeline is different. And thankfully, there is no universal deadline for having your life figured out.

4. Never forget a small kindness.

This one is close to my heart.

Sometimes someone does something very small for us—a phone call, a little help, a few encouraging words, or simply being there when we needed someone.

Maybe it took them five minutes.

Maybe they didn’t even think twice about it.

But perhaps those five minutes meant much more to us.

I believe those things should be remembered.

Big things are easy to remember.

But the little kindnesses people show us when they have no reason to—and expect nothing in return—deserve a special place in our memory.

Never forget the person who made your difficult day a little easier.

And whenever you get the chance, pass that kindness forward.

My Personal Mantra: And a Little Bonus Rule… 😉

Don’t trust anyone blindly.

Be kind. Be warm. Be there for people.

But keep your eyes open too.

Trust is beautiful, but it doesn’t mean handing someone the keys to your life and hoping they remember where the brakes are. 😂

Trust people—but let time, consistency and their actions earn the deeper levels of it.

So, these are my little rules.

Stay busy, mind my own business.
Keep learning, keep creating, keep moving.
Don’t compare your behind-the-scenes with someone else’s highlight reel.
And never forget a small kindness.

And as a bonus:

Be kind, but don’t be blindly trusting.

I don’t follow all of these perfectly. I’m still human. 😂

But these are the little reminders I come back to whenever life gets noisy.

What about you? What’s one personal mantra or life philosophy you’ve learned from your own experience?

Tell me yours—I promise I’ll read it while minding my own business. 😂

.

Until The Next Whisper,

This piece beautifully captures the very essence of human reality over the filtered illusions of the digital age. In a world heavily obsessed with highlight reels, traveling milestones, and constant achievements, it is so grounding to remind ourselves that everyone is running a completely different race on their own unique timeline. Comparing our behind-the-scenes struggles, doubts, and unfinished plans to someone else’s polished highlight reel only robs us of our peace. Embracing the truth that we don’t need a universal deadline to have our lives figured out is such a liberating realization.Equally touching is the emphasis on remembering small acts of kindness. While monumental moments are easy to recall, it takes a truly generous soul to cherish the five minutes someone spared, the encouraging words offered, or a helping hand extended without any expectation of a return. Those tiny acts make our heaviest days lighter, and carrying that gratitude forward creates a ripple effect of genuine warmth in the world. Finally, your personal rules strike a brilliant balance between empathy and wisdom. Loving humanity and being kind doesn’t mean handing over the keys to your life blindly. True trust is earned through time, consistency, and shared actions. Staying busy, minding our own growth, and maintaining clear boundaries while keeping our hearts open is a powerful mantra to live by when life gets too noisy.Awsome artical ❤️😊🫶🫶

This one felt very close to home, Krish 🤍 We all have our own timing and I’ve learned that the little kindnesses people show us often stay in our hearts much longer than the big moments. Loved this. Thank you so much 🦋✨

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Exactly! 🤍 We see everyone’s highlight reel, but never the whole story behind it. I’ve learned that staying in my own lane brings so much more peace. 🦋✨

    TALK THE WORD

Principles Of The Prayer Of Faith ) *See The Unseen

Here is another vital principle to observe where the prayer of faith is concerned. You’ve got to see the unseen! You should be able to visualize what you desire, and it’s only when your desire is specific that you can see it. How do you see the unseen? Through the eyes of faith! Because you can’t possess what you can’t see. “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18). Abraham, the great patriarch of old, had to see the vision of God’s promise to himto become a father of many nations. “And he (God) brought him (Abraham) forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness” (Genesis 15:5-6). As Joshua planned to attack Jericho, the Lord said to him, “…See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour” (Joshua 6:2). These two examples show us how imperative it is for us to have a mental picture of whatever our desire is. And here is the ultimate reason: The extent of your vision is the boundary of your blessing! I love Dr. David Yongi Cho’s testimony. He tells the story of how, many years ago, when he had just started out in the ministry and was pastoring a small church, he asked God to give hima chair, a table, and a bicycle. But God asked himwhat kind of chair, table, and bicycle he wanted, and he gave God his specifications. Believing that he had received, he came before his congregation on Sunday morning and announced, “Praise God, I have a chair, a table, and a bicycle.” His members, young Christians who were just beginning to learn God’s Word, asked incredulously, “But
you walked to church today. Where’s the bicycle?” Of course, he had nothing to show his members, but he asserted that he had all the things he had
mentioned. So after the service that day, some of his members decided to go home with him and find out if he really had those things. On getting to his house and finding none of those items there, they asked him, “Where are the chair, table
and bicycle.” “They’re inside me,” he answered. “I’m pregnant with a chair, a table, and a bicycle!” His members had to hold their stomachs for laughter, and they went around telling people, “Come see our pastor. He’s pregnant with a chair, a table and a bicycle!” They had never heard anyone talk like that, but Pastor Cho had been able to see in reality the existence of those items. Through the eyes of faith, he had seen the unseen. And soon enough, the exact chair, table, and bicycle he had received by faith became
a reality in the physical realm.
Understand this: “To see the unseen” isn’t the same as “being optimistic.” It actually means “to see the way God sees, and speak of the physically non-existent as though they already existed.” In his letter to the Roman Church, Paul shared something very instructive about the God-kind of faith:
“…even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17). When you’re so convinced that something is yours, even if you don’t see it with your physical eyes, it’s absolutely impossible for the devil or anyone to talk you out of it, because you’ve already possessed it by your faith, using the power of your thought.

Thank you so much 🤍 I’m glad those two resonated with you. Minding our own journey and being kind really can make life a little lighter. 🌸🦋✨

  8. Lalitha Avatar

Minding my business has been my mantra since I was born! It’s not a mantra… it is just in my dna🤣🤣🤣. Introverts own xopyrights on this one!

Trust…but not blindly: This had to be knocked into my head. Literally. Only after many flat-in-my-face falls did I learn to keep my eyes open.

Creating and learning something new also comes naturally to me. So much so that it has become a daily ritual.

I make sure I am kind to everyone. Even ones I don’t like all that much. And I don’t ever forget kindness. Kindness somehow doesn’t come naturally ro humans anymore and it is something that needs practice.

I don’t compare as well anymore. I never did with the world. With my siblings, it took me time to go easy on myself and accept my path as my own.

We seem to have similar life mantras R… I LIKE! 🥰🤩

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Haha, Lalitha, I think we really do share quite a few life mantras! 😄 Mind your own business, be kind, keep learning, and don’t compare your journey with anyone else’s. 🤍 Life becomes so much lighter when we stop trying to fit into someone else’s path.🦋✨

  9. SRIKANTH Avatar

Rajeshwari, this was such a beautiful and grounding read. I love that your mantra isn’t one grand philosophy but a handful of gentle rules that actually help you live. “Stay busy, mind my own business” is pure peace, and “Don’t compare your behind-the-scenes with someone else’s highlight reel” is something I’ll carry with me today. The one about never forgetting small kindnesses really touched my heart—it’s so true that the quietest gestures stay the longest. And your bonus rule? Kind but not blindly trusting—perfect balance. Thank you for sharing these whispers. Keep learning, keep creating, keep moving, and keep writing. 🌸

If I had to add one of mine: “Be soft, but not foolish.” 😊

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

This genuinely made me smile, Srikanth ji 🤍 “Be soft, but not foolish” I think that’s something life teaches us slowly, sometimes the hard way. We can stay kind and warm-hearted without giving everyone the power to hurt us. Thank you for adding this beautiful little wisdom to my thoughts. 🥰🦋✨

  10. Vijay Srivastava Avatar

What makes these principles powerful is that none of them tries to control life they teach us how to conduct ourselves within it. Mind your own journey, keep learning, refuse comparison, remember kindness, and let trust be earned through consistency. Simple rules, but together they form a remarkably mature philosophy: live fully, stay grounded, remain kind, and keep your eyes open.

    1. nihshabdblog Avatar

Thank you so much, Vijay ji 🤍 I absolutely loved the way you expressed it. Sometimes the simplest rules are the ones that quietly make the biggest difference keep growing, stay kind, trust wisely, and most importantly, stay true to your own journey. Your words made me smile. 🦋✨

No judgement … 9 [# of truth] judgment-calls which have enriched the American People, that Trump 2.0 achieved, prior to the Mid-Term elections?

Trump 1.0 trashed the internationalization of US strategic interests with America First by destroying the Obama treaty which granted the Mullahs “permission” to develop the “Bomb”. Trump 2.0 has continued where he left off. #2. Not since Reagan fired the bureaucraps of the Air Traffic Controllers has a US President threatened mass firings and trimming of the US bureaucracies (plural agencies). Based upon the premise “All Power to the States to bureaucratically regulate trade and commerce inside each and every State of the Republic; contrast Clinton’s hatred of the Electoral College established by the Framers of the Constitution to protect States with small populations from being dominated by States with huge populations otherwise know as Democratic mob-rule.

#3. America destroyed the USSR under Reagan only to witness the Democraps embrace Socialism? Not under Trump’s watch. #4. Trump Derangement Syndrome has on multiple occasions in 2.0 attempted to assassinate the President, a step beyond the Obama/Clinton Russia-Gate abomination; supported by the Rachel Maddow and MSM Pravda Press monopoly on the replacement of hard News with slanted propaganda emotion arousing opinion slander. The wings of CNN NBC and CBS fake noise news. That clap-trap “comedy”, its wings got slightly clipped akin to the corruption in the Federal bureaucracy with its revolving door Army brass incest with the Industrial Military Complex and the Central Bank Federal Reserve. Contrast the noise made by Trump’s construction plans vs the gross Democrap silence during the recently fired Head of the Central Bank whore-house expansion of the Federal Reserve building; Democrap corruption compares to how the UN – as a rule – singles out Israel for condemnations – how the Democrap whores cast reliable allies under the bus when it serves their self serving masturbate interests!!

#5. Restoring the pre-Wilson policy of relying upon tariffs as a primary tool wherein Washington taxes foreign countries rather than the American people to pay for the Federal budget; starting with closing US borders to illegal aliens, coupled with giving them Bill of Rights “RIGHTS”, which define both Obama and Biden. The whole purpose of the US Constitution to distinguish US citizen rights — from serf slavery. #7. Imposing voter ID and restricting mail-in voting.

#8. Not since Nixon coupled the US dollar to OPEC oil sales a “monopoly” which made the USD the international currency of the Planet by switch the dollar from a commodity based currency to a debt-war economy, (modeled after Lincoln’s Green back by which the Northern States paid for the Civil War), has a US President secured the dominance of the US dollar by controlling the Oil markets and breaking Chines dominance over Panama and critical minerals like rare-earth elements and graphite – monopoly.
