This sounds like a simple question.
It isn’t.
Because now I’m supposed to choose ONE fictional animal to spend the rest of my life with?
That requires serious research. 😂
I considered a few magical creatures. Then I thought about cute ones. Then loyal ones.
And suddenly, there he was.
Maximus from Tangled. 🐴❤️
Why I’d Choose Maximus as My Fictional Animal Companion
Yes. Maximus.
And honestly, what’s not to love?
That attitude.
That strength.
That temper.
That intense “I know exactly what you’re up to” expression. 😂
His face deserves a separate award.
He can communicate an entire paragraph without saying a single word.
One look from him and you know whether he approves, disapproves, or is currently reconsidering his decision to associate with you.
I love that he is disciplined, trained, confident and intelligent. He doesn’t blindly follow anyone. He has his own mind, his own principles and a very strong sense of right and wrong.
And let’s not forget his possessiveness.
He gives off serious “I’m watching you” energy.
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind having that kind of companion.
Especially one who can keep me out of trouble.
Or at least try. 😂
But the real reason I’d choose Maximus?
The ride.
The Ride I’d Never Forget
Just imagine sitting proudly on his back, holding the reins, while he takes off at full speed.
The wind hitting my face.
My hair flying everywhere.
That feeling of speed.
The world rushing past me.
And me sitting there thinking…
“Yes. This is exactly how I should be travelling.” 😌🐎💨
I can almost feel that ride.
Of course, there is a tiny detail I’m choosing to ignore.
My carefully done hair?
Gone.
My makeup?
God knows where it will be after that ride. 😂
But honestly, who cares?
If I’m sitting on Maximus, feeling the wind in my hair and watching him race ahead with that unstoppable confidence…
I think the mess will be worth it.
And then comes the most practical part of this lifelong companionship.
Petrol prices.
Diesel prices.
The ever-increasing cost of travelling.
With Maximus?
Zero petrol. Zero diesel. I’ll deal with the hay bill later. 😂
See? He’s not just handsome, strong and intelligent.
He’s financially sensible too. 😌
In this economy, that’s an important quality in a lifelong companion. 😌
Although, knowing Maximus, I’m pretty sure he’d decide where we’re going, how fast we’re going, and whether I’m allowed to stop for coffee.
So technically, I wouldn’t be his owner.
I’d probably just be his very enthusiastic passenger. 😂
And honestly?
I’d happily take that ride. 🐎❤️
