Do You Believe in Karma?
Yes, I believe in karma. 🤍
I have always believed in a simple thought: what you sow, so shall you reap. Maybe not immediately, and maybe not always in the way we expect, but our actions do have a way of finding their way back to us.
For me, karma is not about sitting and waiting for someone to get what they deserve. 😄 I don’t have the time or energy to keep checking when someone’s karma is going to arrive!
I would rather focus on my own actions. Do good when I can. Be kind. Help someone if I’m able to. Speak gently. And most importantly, keep my intentions genuine.
There is something from the Bhagavad Gita that beautifully explains this:
“Karmanyevadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana.”
It means: You have the right to perform your actions, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions.
In simple words, do your karma sincerely without constantly worrying about the result.
I find this thought very comforting. Sometimes we do everything right and still don’t get the outcome we hoped for. Sometimes we are kind and still get hurt. Sometimes we give our best and life simply says, “Not today.” 😄
But that doesn’t mean our good actions were wasted.
I believe the real beauty of karma is in doing the right thing even when nobody is watching, being good without expecting something in return, and choosing kindness even when life gives us reasons not to.
We cannot control what others do. We cannot control every outcome. But we can always control what we put into the world.
So yes, I believe in karma. I believe in doing my part, keeping my heart clean, and leaving the rest to God.
After all, we may not always get what we give immediately, but what we give always becomes a part of the world we live in. 🦋🤍
