If I Had a Time Machine, I’d Tell My Younger Self This

If you had a time machine and could send just one message to your past self, what would it say?

If I had a time machine, I know exactly where I’d go.

Straight back to my younger self.

I’d find her, sit beside her for a while and say—

“Listen… you’re doing pretty damn well. So please don’t change too much. Stay exactly the way you are—curious, kind, slightly dramatic, a little stubborn, and wonderfully imperfect. You’ll figure things out along the way.”

I’d probably have to stop myself from giving her too many spoilers.
Because knowing me, I’d end up saying, “Oh, and definitely don’t do that…” 😄

    But no.

    I wouldn’t change her story.

I’d let her make the mistakes, take the wrong turns, laugh too loudly, care too much, start over, surprise herself and grow into whoever she is meant to become.

And just before jumping back into my time machine, I’d turn around and say—

“Keep going. You’re doing better than you think. And one day, the woman you become will look back at you and say… I am proud of you.” 🦋❤️

Now, if WordPress gives me a prompt tomorrow asking me to meet my future self for coffee, I’m officially charging for time-travel services. 😂

    And now I’m curious…

If you could step into a time machine and meet your younger self for just five minutes, what would you tell your younger self?

Would you give them advice, a warning, a hug, or simply say, “You’re doing just fine. Keep going.”?

Tell me in the comments. I’d genuinely love to know what your younger self needs to hear from you today. ❤️

Because sometimes, the person we most need to be proud of isn’t the person we’re becoming…

It’s the person who got us here. 🦋✨
